Extracomm's SecurTrac

SecurTrac lets you monitor everything on your Domino server without changing any code. You can see any changes to the Notes.ini, directory, acl, designs, document and even what emails users have been sent or received. The logs can be saved in one database or into individual log files. This lets you control who and what a user can see regarding changes.

For the security and HR departments: For email monitoring you can specify filters to search emails for content that may need to logged. Are they sending credit card information to others or sending inappropriate content, you can now log it. You can even log all activity a user has with the server.

For the general user: You can select ANY database to monitor and log any time a document has been created, edited, deleted, or even printed. You can select which fields to log including rich text and attachments when changes are made. This can be for only modified fields or all fields.

Using the Notes 8 SecurTrac plug-in

With the Notes 8 client, you can add SecurTrac plug-in to your sidebar. This allows you to select a document in a view and see everything about the document, who has created, read, and updated it. You click on the entry in the sidebar to view the log entry. This will let you see what fields have been modified.

A Notes View and selected documents audit trail

If you are not using Notes 8 yet, then add the SmartIcon (it installs with just a click in the log file) to your client and the document's log is just a click away!
