SPR# JFEN5AEGHT - Added the Notes.ini variable "DisablePrinterFonts=1" to prevent a Notes Client crash when the body field is in focus. This option turns off scanning for printer fonts (display fonts) from the font list. The display fonts are the fonts that you can see on a display. Most printer vendors these days provide "display" versions (e.g., Truetype fonts) for any special fonts that come "built-in" with their printers. However, there are printers (old and new) that do not come with display fonts for all their special font.
In 6.5.4, printer fonts are enabled by default and can be turned off by setting DisablePrinterFonts=1 in notes.ini
In 7.0 (starting with M4), printer fonts are disabled by default and can be turned on by setting EnablePrinterFonts=1 in notes.ini
If you are running an older build of Notes (5.x or 6.x earlier than 6.5.4 or 7.0 earlier than M4), your best bet is to switch your default printer to some local printer or to some dummy printer such as "Fax".
